Apiarians work with bees. By definition, anyone
who partakes of this mutualistic relationship, is an apiarian. Apiarians of
America SM is a national network of
professionals who, through experience, service, and integrity, have earned
the privilege to display the above service mark. The National Registry is
composed of four divisions:
Divisions 2-4 are reserved for honorary memberships. Division 1 requires the following minimum requirements for inclusion on the National Registry and authorization to display the Apiarians of America service mark: standard 1 >10 yrs of experience in honeybee management or Standard #2 standard 2 - Completion of > 1000 honeybee extractions/treatments standard 3 - Legally certified, insured and licensed to practice bee control standard 4 - compliance with laws and regulations governing bee services standard 5 - superior business ethics Apiarians of America will also recognize operators who meet the following qualifications. These operators will receive lifetime membership, as do charter members, after they have completed standards 1-5 1. 3 years of employment with a provider who meets standards 1-5 and is currently working under the direct supervision of such a provider. 2. Perform >200 honeybee extractions/treatments The Apiarians of America service mark and inclusion on The National Registry is not intended to imply that other providers are not equally qualified. All, who feel they meet the above standards, are invited to apply for membership. There is no charge for inclusion or maintenance fees for placement onto The National Registry. www.aapiniusa.com/apply |
